Cost comparison
One guard shift, or your whole property monitored
Security guards are the most expensive and most limited option on the table. Remote video monitoring covers more ground for a small fraction of the cost.
On-site guard
$4,000-$7,000 / month
One post, one set of eyes, predictable patrol gaps, turnover and no-shows, and personal risk during a confrontation.
Monitored cameras
From $24.99 / camera / month
Every camera watched at once by agents who issue a live voice-down in seconds and escalate to police with time-stamped footage.
Recording only
Hardware cost
Answers questions after the loss. No intervention, no deterrence, and often no usable footage of the person responsible.
Pricing questions
What business owners ask before signing up
What does camera monitoring cost per month?
12-hour monitoring starts at $24.99 per camera, per month. 24-hour monitoring is quoted per site because it depends on camera count, traffic, and escalation rules.
Do I have to buy new cameras?
Usually not. Most modern IP camera systems can be connected to our monitoring platform. If a critical area is uncovered, we quote only the cameras needed to close that gap.
Is camera monitoring cheaper than an on-site security guard?
Substantially. One guard post typically runs $4,000-$7,000 a month, while monitoring starts at $24.99 per camera, per month. A ten-camera site is monitored for a small fraction of a single guard shift.
Can monitored cameras really replace a guard?
For most properties, yes. A guard stands in one place; monitored cameras watch your perimeter, gate, yard, dock, and lot at the same time, never lose attention, and cannot be avoided or outnumbered. Many clients keep a guard for access control and use monitoring for everything else.
Is there a long contract?
Terms are kept short and simple. We would rather earn the next month than lock you into a system that is not producing results.
How fast do operators respond to an alert?
Verified alerts reach a live operator within seconds of the detection event, and voice-down typically begins while the intruder is still at the perimeter.
